Barcelona’s labyrinthian Old Town keeps one of Europe’s most important collections of medieval Gothic Architecture, including the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia and Santa Maria del Mar, in addition to housing the city’s oldest remains, such as the Roman walls or the temple of Augustus. The Call, or medieval Jewish Quarter, also holds some quite amazing surprises. On this walking tour we’ll bring to light all the history hidden in the ancient alleys of the Old Town as we walk through the different sections in which the Old Town is divided: the historical Gothic Quarter, the vibrant Born, and the ethnic Raval. If you are up to it, we can also explore the Picasso Museum this day and spend some time at the Boqueria Market, one of the world’s best food markets.
